Morton's Prime Sirloin Burger PromotionThrough September
In honor of Morton's 30th anniversary, the steakhouse has introduced a Prime Sirloin Burger offered for $19.78 on Sundays through September. $5 from the sale of each burger will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The Morton's steakhouse in Downtown Seattle has been a long-time supporter of the local chapter and Morton's nationally is helping to grant 30 wishes in honor of the company's 30th anniversary. Tapestry of Art in SpokaneSeptember 13, 2008
Join Spokane's finest artists on Saturday, September 13th at 8 p.m. at The Bing Crosby Theater at the "Tapestry of Art" fundraiser to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The Creations were developed using two of Cold Stone Creamery's new ice cream flavors, Nutter Butter® and marshmallow. Wish child Emily developed the Creation made with Nutter Butter ice cream mixed with yallow cake, Kit Kat® candy and white chocolate chips. 2nd Annual South Sound Luncheon in TacomaNovember 4, 2008
The Make-A-Wish Foundation proudly presents the 2nd Annual South Sound Luncheon at the Fircrest Golf Club in Tacoma. The program will include the inspiring wish story of Gary Yost, whose wish to join the crew of the Discovery Channel’s Deadliest Catch was recently granted and featured on KOMO 4 News. The event will be hosted by emcee Mike Ferrari of KOMO 4 Sports and will feature keynote speaker and wish granting volunteer Casey Fairchild who helped grant Gary’s special wish. This inaugural event is set to become the signature Gala for the Make-A-Wish Foundation in Spokane. The inspiring program will highlight local wish children and families and the auction will feature unique experiences, celebrity items and one-of-a-kind gifts. Donate Alaska Airlines Miles!
Thanks to the generosity of Alaska Airlines, a special Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan account has been established for the exclusive use of our chapter. For every 40,000 miles donated by supporters, the Foundation will be able to claim a ticket valid for flight anywhere Alaska Airlines or Horizon Airlines flies. Considering that these miles help reduce the costs of our most expensive tickets, your donation can make a huge impact on the Foundation's ability to grant wishes. Kahala Corp Celebration WeekSeptember 22 - 26, 2008
Kahala Corp franchises Cold Stone Creamery, Blimpie, Great Steak & Potato Company, Samurai Sam's Teriyaki Grill and Taco Time have partnered with a goal to raise a combined $1 million in September for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Stores will raise money be sellng paper Wish Stars to customers for $1 each throughout September, culminating in a week-long celebration Sept. 22-26.

From 5 to 8 p.m. on a designated night during the "celebration week," each of these restaurants will give away a signature item in exchange for a customer's voluntary donation to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Please visit your neighborhood locations to support the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Alaska, Montana, Northern Idaho & Washington.
